Booker Tee was back in the winners stall at Warracknabeal on Saturday.
After an attempt at a hurdling career, Booker Tee looks to prefer the flat racing and being kept fresh between runs. Booker Tee is very versatile in he handles all conditions. He has won from 1300m right up to the 2000m. Although he finishes his races off like he will stay all day, he hasn’t got great form beyond the 2000m. He was given a great ride by Tom Madden on Saturday. Booker Tee was under riding a long way from home but Tom never let up on him and he got his head in front right where it counted.
Bringing up his 4th win from his 19th start, and placed on seven other occasions, Booker Tee is building a nice little record. Given his rating, we might look to sneak him on the minimum in some of the upcoming country cups and try to add a feature win to his tally.
