Untouchable Ed may have had very little idea of what his job was at Bendigo on Sunday but the 4yo son of Contributer was an impressive winner on debut.

Settling back from the wide barrier, we didn’t have too much expectation. The day was all about giving Untouchable Ed a good experience and trying to teach him as much as possible on debut.
During the run, he was very green, laying in and laying out. At the top of the straight he was a long way off the leader. Rider, Harry Coffey got him to the outside, he was the widest runner in the straight. Harry gave Untouchable Ed one with the whip behind the saddle and he found plenty. Winning by two lengths and all on raw ability.

It was a great result for the winning connections Price Bloodstock who have been very patient with getting Untouchable Ed to the track. He looks like he has a promising future ahead.
