Under The Palais kicked off her career in fine style with a win on debut at Terang. Although small in size, she has a big heart and is very tough.
Drawn awkwardly in the outside barrier, she jumped cleanly and ended up getting a lovely trail behind the speed. Under The Palais always travelled well and looked the winner a long way out.
She was very green in the run to the line and rider Declan Bates had to help her finish off the race as she wanted to hang in and do a few things wrong.
Purchased for $42,500 from the Magic Millions sales, in conjunction with bloodstock agent Pinhook Bloodstock, Under The Palais is raced by a large group of owners, some first time clients to Wilde Racing.
