The long weekend was a busy one for the team as we saddled up runners across Swan Hill and Edenhope.
It was Sunday that seen the winners role in with Dashing Duchess (pictured) too classy for her rivals at Swan Hill. She’s Ternacious was successful at Edenhope thanks to an A1 ride from Tom Madden.
Dashing Duchess was sent out a short priced favourite in the small but competitive field. Her brave effort in the listed Andrew Ramsden the start prior was the best form lines heading into Sundays race.
She is now starting to put together a great record for her owners. From as little has eight starts, Dashing Duchess has secured four wins and 2 minor placings and earned her connections $118,540 in prize-money.
Dashing Duchess is a developing stayer and we can only look forward to bigger and better things with her over the coming months.
She’s Ternacious had a bounce back to form at Edenhope on Sunday winning over the 1200m. From an awkward draw, Tom Madden gave her a lovely ride. The speed was on and he was able to slot into a lovely position. Coming into the straight, Tom asked for an effort and She’s Ternacious responded careering away to win by 1.25 lengths. It was great to see the mare back in the winners stall.
Congratulations to our winning connections over the weekend.
