Promising 4yo mare Tralee Rose kicked off her campaign with an impressive maiden victory at Warrnambool on Thursday.
After showing promise as a late 3yo over the staying trips, Tralee Rose looks to have a bright future ahead after beating her rivals convincingly over the unsuitable trip of 1700m.
She was given a lovely ride by Fred Kersley, after jumping away fairly, he didn’t bustle her, she got into a lovely rhythm and on the corner she looked to be travelling well. On paper she didn’t look to beat much but the way she did it, was very encouraging.

Purchased from NZ for $50,000 and always going to take time, the ownership group have been very patient with her. Hopefully now they will start to reap the rewards.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
