With a big team of runners at Warrnambool last Thursday it was great to bring home a winning double.

Precious Charm a lightly raced daughter of Per Incanto notched up her second career win from only the three starts. It was great to see her bounce back after her slightly disappointing first up effort this preparation. She knuckled down late and reeled in the stable mate Coastal Town right on the line. Precious Charm is a mare with plenty of upside and we look forward to watching her continue to develop as she learns her job and what racing is all about.

Imported french mare Perle Bleue (pictured) got her first Australian win on the board with a courageous win. It has taken her a while to learn the Australian racing. With some hard luck stories and races not run to suit it was great to see the race fall Perle Bleue’s way on Thursday and get a much deserved win. It was a tenacious victory by Perle Bleue who was clearly headed in the straight but she fought back to win by half a length in the end displaying her staying qualities.

Congratulations to our winning connections.
