Shuriken, a 3yo son of Tosen Stardom made it a dream start to the racing caper for the newly formed syndicators Toward Reward Thoroughbreds.
Having their first runner since starting their syndication business around three years ago, manager Matt Sellick couldn’t have asked for a better result.
Shuriken was able to break his maiden status on debut at Casterton under the guidance of Dean Yendall.  Shuriken has continued to grow and develop each preparation. Although he got the job done yesterday in impressive fashion, we are confident he will be a better horse as a late 3yo.

Shuriken was picked out as a weanling after being withdrawn from 2020 Great Southern Sale. Matt Sellick was kind enough to select Wilde Racing as their trainer and as they say, the rest is history.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
