The promising family of Lorna’s Lass continued with her daughter by Magnus winning on debut over the May Carnival.
Sasqualah is a little different to her siblings, she is smaller in size, has the stamp of her sire rather than the dam but none the less she looks to have the same level of ability.

We saddled up four runners for the 1200m 2yo and up maiden on Tuesday. Sasqualah won in impressive fashion going on to demolish her stable mates Luv The Bool and Witchitall by 3.75 lengths. Our 4th runner Paulartes had no luck and finished midfield.

An ownership group largely made up from local connections, it was a great thrill for them to have a winner at their home town carnival. Great friend and long time stable client, Dallas Ludeman bred the filly with Symon. They syndicated Sasqualah out to a group of friends and as they say the rest is history.

She was given a lovely run by Linda Meech from the awkward draw. Coming to the home turn we could see she had a lap full of horse. When Linda asked for an effort, Sasqualah let loose and showed her rivals a clean set of heels.

Congratulations to the large group of winning connections.
