O’Reilly McLuke our most recent purchase from New Zealand was an impressive winner breaking his maiden status at Warrnambool on Monday.
Coming from New Zealand with one start to his name, he looked very green on debut. From his video’s Symon liked what he saw after Dave Mee sourced the horse for us.
He didn’t have the easiest of runs, caught three wide but he travelled well and was kept out of trouble by jockey Beau Mertens. O’Reilly McLuke raced away for a comfortable win. He is still learning as he wanted to hang in and floated when he hit the front. He looks to be a promising fun horse going forward for his ownership group.
