Navy King (pictured) was an impressive maiden winner at Camperdown on Saturday. With Dean Yendall in the saddle, Navy King was sent out a short priced favourtie and he didn’t let his supporters down.
He jumped and travelled comfortably just off the speed. He railed well and when Dean asked for the effort, Navy King extended nicely to go on and win by 2.5 lengths.
Navy King always showed promise as a 2yo which led to him making his debut at Bendigo as a late 2yo, he was not the furnished product, he still had a lot to learn. With a break and a bit more time, it was great to see him come back as a 3yo and improve as we thought he would. We look forward to seeing how far the son of U S Navy Flag can progress throughout this preparation.

Country Cups campaigner Mister Me was able to add a second cup to his record scoring an all the way win in the Camperdown Cup. Off the back of two second placings in the Woodford Cup and Koroit Cup it was great to see Mister Me back in the winners stall. He was rated beautifully out in front by Dean Yendall and Mister Me never looked in danger. He kicked off the bend and galloped his rivals into the ground to win by an easy 5.5lengths. It was a great thrill for connections, with a couple of them being able to enjoy the win on course on Saturday.

Congratulations to both groups of winning connections.
