Auld Regret backed up her eye catching 3rd on debut with an impressive win at Ararat on Monday.
She jumped well but took a couple of strides to muster speed which seen her settle back in an awkward position. Dean Yendall was able to build into the race nicely improving from the 600m as the gaps appeared. Auld Regret took a lot of benefit from her debut to her second start and was brave enough to take the gaps when Yendall asked her to. She finished strongly through the line and went on to win by a length.

Auld Regret hasn’t been a natural at her trade and she has taken time to learn her craft. Her owner has been patient and we think now he will start to reap the rewards.
We will continue to step through the grades with Auld Regret and hopefully she can continue to progress.

Congratulations to winning owner/breeder Jamie Fox.
