Literati kicked off the new racing season with a win at Swan Hill on Thursday. Jarrod Fry made amends for the hard luck story at the start prior with a great ride on Thursday. Following the favourites back throughout, Literati always travelled well.
Although he has good form on the softer going, the turn of foot Literati showed, suggests he is perhaps better on the firmer tracks.

It was a great result for owner/breeder Mike Becker who races Literati with Wilde Racing. After showing talent as a 3yo, Literati was sidelined with a minor tendon injury. Patience was needed to get Literati back to the track and racing in good form. Hopefully with the win on the board its a sign of better things to come.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
