Lady Delight broke her maiden status at Stawell on Easter Sunday. She was very tough, having to muster speed early from a wide draw and travel outside the leader. The challengers came in the straight but she kept fighting them off to win by 1.5lenghts. Lady Delight isn’t overly big but she is as tough as they come.
Her owners unfortunately couldn’t be there on the day were overwhelmed with excitement with the win as they bred this mare.
They also race the full sister Irish Delight with us who has found a purple patch of form.
Congratulations to Evie, Gary and Julie on the win of Lady Delight.
