Nobody did it easier than Kodiak Bear at Ballarat on Thursday as he romped in by seven lengths. He was rated well out in front by Jordan Childs and they looked the winners a long way out.

Bred by owner David Trevathan who races the gelding with close friends, it was great to get another win on the board. Lightly raced for a 5yo, Kodiak Bear has now won on three occasions from his 10 starts and tipped over the $100k in prize-money.

It seems as though Kodiak Bear will stay all day and with many options coming up including the Jericho Cup and 3000m races at Moonee Valley, it’s onward and upward for “The Bear”

Congratulations to the winning connections.
