Irish Delight made the long road trip to Bordertown worth it when she notched up her second career win. Josh Cartwright jumped well from the good barrier and settled on the fence behind the leaders where Irish Delight had a lovely run throughout the race, upon straightening Irish Delight was able to stick to the rail and get a run through where she sprinted hard and fast to eventually win by 3.9L
Irish Delight headed to Ararat in red hot form after her impressive last start win at Bordertown. Josh Cartwright again rode Irish Delight. Josh was able to settle her in the perfect position, one out one back where she settled beautifully and got a lovely run throughout the race. At the 500m mark Josh produced Irish Delight and put her into the race. She loomed up to the leaders and in the straight really had to dig deep to score another impressive win.
