Developing stayer Iffycould relished the 2500m journey at Moonee Valley on Friday night. After settling in a lovely position early in the run, Iffycould relaxed beautifully under Jordy Childs.
At the 600m it was looking very messy for Iffycould who got shuffled back to second last approaching the home turn. Jordy looked as though he had plenty of horse underneath but was held up and looking for somewhere to go. The gaps appeared and Iffycould quickened through them to go on and win by 3/4’s of a length.
It was great to get the win for the connections of Iffycoud who are new clients to the stables and even better they were on course to enjoy the victory. Providing Iffycould continues to enjoy the staying trips the owners look like they could have some fun with him progressing forward.
