Rushin Rhonda broke her maiden status at Warrnambool on Tuesday. It was a great thrill for owner Marg Lucas who bred Rushin Rhonda to get the win on her home track.
Marg has a great passion for racing and to win at Warrnambool made the victory that little more special.
We are very thankful for the patience Marg has shown with Rushin Rhonda as she has had her share of niggles. She has given the mare plenty of time to mature and although her maiden victory was convincing, she may have just being a class above her rivals and will be much better suited to tracks with some give in them.
