It had been a long time coming for the owners of Havashout (pictured) but he broke his maiden status in fine style at Warrnambool on Sunday. He travelled well in front for Brad Rawiller and when asked for an effort Havashout kicked clear to win by four lengths. Although it was a convincing margin it looks as though Havashout still has improvement to come as he was wanting to hang in towards the rail and wanted to pull up once he hit the front. It was great to see him get the win on the board for his very patient owners.
Toff Love brought up win number two from three starts since joining Wilde Racing. With a few little niggles he has the beach and paddock environment seem to be really working for him.
Although he didn’t win the race by a big margin, he looks as though he will continue to progress through the grades. Toff Love is still learning how to finish off a race and when the penny drops there looks to be a nice win in store for him.
Congratulations to the winning connections.
