Sirileo Miss, ridden by Linda Meech, registered her first Black Type victory in the Group 3 Ladies’ Day Vase at Caulfield on Wednesday. It was a really tough effort, showing enormous fight to hold off her rivals who loomed to go past her over the concluding stages.
It was terrific to get a Black Type victory, making her a very valuable Broodmare in the future. That win makes it three from three this time in and took her record to an impressive five wins from just nine starts. There are several options for her coming up at the Flemington Carnival and we look forward to her stepping out again.
