Wilde Racing had a day to remember at Coleraine on Sunday, saddling up five runners and bringing home four winners.

We had a clean sweep of the jumping races with Hit The Road Jack (pictured), Enchanted Elle and Fabalot all winning their respective races. Triomphe rounded out the day with a win over the 1600m.

Hit The Road Jack appreciated the drop back in class and was able to control the race from the front. He put in a clean round of jumping which he hadn’t done previously this campaign. The impost of 71kg didn’t seem to stop him and he was too good winning by 4.25 lengths with Aaron Lynch in the saddle.

The full sister to Hit The Road Jack, Enchanted Elle, followed up in similar style leading all the way in the second hurdle of the day. Ridden by Will Gordon, he was just a passenger as the mare took control and lead all the way. She never looked like getting beat as she put a margin on her rivals at every jump. She is only small but she is a tough as they come.

Fabalot took out the feature for the day the “Great Western Steeplechase” worth $60,000. Much like the stable mates, he jumped and controlled the race from the get go. He gave himself a breather midway and showed a nice turn of foot after the last to run away and win by 14 lengths with Will Gordon in the saddle. After swapping across to the steeples, Fabalot has been as honest as they come having had the four starts for two wins and two minor placings. We look forward to the grand final with all our jumpers next Sunday at Ballarat.

Triomphe a new comer to the stable was able to get the win in the 0-58 1600m race with Gary Walsh in the saddle. Drawing barrier one was a huge advantage. He jumped well, put himself in a spot and always travelled well. When the other runners fanned off the turn, Triomphe took the gap closer to the rails and showed a nice turn of foot to win the race. With a win on the board, hopefully he can hold his form and go on with it this preparation.

Congratulations to all our winning connections on Sunday!!
