Slow away from the barriers and without much luck throughout the run, he nevertheless showed his quality late, digging deep in the straight. He needed to be tough and show real fight, and that’s exactly what he did under a determined ride from Tom Stockdale.

Since joining the stable, Dschingis Prestige had previously shown his ability by competing in Saturday metropolitan company. However, towards the end of his last campaign he lost form for no obvious reason and struggled to reproduce his best on race day.
