Diamonds and Rust recorded her first victory for the stable in a dominant victory at Geelong on Saturday.
She was a little slow away and settled back in the field with Joe Bowditch letting her find her feet early. She got a nice cart into the race before letting down really well over the concluding stages to win just shy of two lengths.
Congratulations to long time stable client, Marg Lucas, on the win, and hopefully there are more in store.
