Progressive 4yo mare, Dashing Duchess made the step up from maiden class winning her next start at Ballarat on Monday.
Winning your next start after breaking your maiden status is never easy to do. Dashing Duchess seems to be taking the right steps to go on to bigger and better things after she did just that. She looked as though she was going to run a nice second but her staying prowess kicked in and she was too strong. For a developing stayer Dashing Duchess does have a turn of foot which was on show at Ballarat on Monday.
Purchased from the NZ ready to run sale, Dashing Duchess is well on the way to paying back her purchase price and her owners patience as she didn’t debut until a 4yo.
