Darts Daly got the win on the board at Ararat on Tuesday. He is starting to put together a nice record having only the 10 career starts for three wins, two seconds and a third.

Darts Daly settled in a lovely position, 5th back on the rail. He was given a cushy run by Dean Yendall off the hot tempo. At the top of the straight, Dean maneuvered a path off the leaders’ heels and asked Darts Daly to accelerate and that he did. Darts Daly careered away to win by 3.75 lengths.

A gelding by Squamosa out of the mare Crevasse, Darts Daly is the last foal from the mare who Symon, Dallas and Peter all owned and bred to race from. When it’s one you have bred yourself and done all the hard work with, the win is always extra special. To then race Darts Daly with a group of close friends, the win was well celebrated among the ownership group.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
