Moveen (pictured) and Overflow Miss provided their owners with an early Christmas present winning at the Colac Christmas meeting on Saturday.
Moveen backed up his debut run with a last stride victory with Lester Grace in the saddle over the 1600m. It was a great result for owner/breeder Chris Richards who has been a great supporter of the stables.
Overflow Miss found herself back in the winners stall after running well without much luck at her previous starts. She was a filly that showed plenty early doors, so much so she ran 4th in the listed Strutt stakes in Tassie earlier in the year. It has taken time for her to find her feet again after a break but persistence has paid off as Overflow Miss stormed to victory by over 3 lengths.
