Celtic Brut broke his maiden status at St Arnaud on Saturday. With the addition of blinkers, up in trip and a firmer track, the team were confident of a forward showing.

Purchased from the ready to run sale at Karaka in 2020 for $30,000, Celtic Brut always looked as though he had the ability, he just needed the time to mature and put racing altogether.

Celtic Brut was given a lovely ride by Harry Grace, although he had the race in his keeping, he looked to switch off when he hit the front and waited for his rivals.
From the four starts, Celtic Brut has recorded a win and a third. Hopefully he can now take the next step out of maiden grade.
It was great to get the result for Grand Syndicates and their owners who have continued to support Wilde Racing over the years.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
