Aurora’s Symphony proved to connections his time in the sun isn’t over yet with a tough victory at Flemington on Saturday. Usually this time of year we see Aurora’s Symphony on the Colac Cup, Launceston Cup and Adelaide Cup campaign, a prep that has seen him so successful the past two years. This year with the idea of tackling the Hobart Cup as well we plotted a slightly different path but the now 7yo didn’t disappoint getting his head down at the right time on the line and provided a huge thrill for the owners.

After surviving a colic scare and enjoying his change of training routine, which included jumping, Aurora’s Symphony has thrived after what seemed two lackluster performances to begin his campaign.
The race was run to suit, there was plenty of speed on from start to finish which lead to a true staying test. We know that is how our fellow loves to race best.

It was great to see the old warrior return to winning form as we build towards defending his crown in the Launceston Cup.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
