Promising mare Amizetta lapped up the 2400m at Sandown on Wednesday bringing up her second win of the preparation.
Harry Coffey gave her a great ride out in front, it was almost a track gallop for her. The plan wasn’t to lead but when there was no speed Harry took up the running. Down the back, Amizetta was in a good rhythm and bowling along at her leisure. She got some cheap sectionals and was always travelling well. Amizetta gave a good kick into the straight and she sustained a strong gallop to the line.
The ownership group have been extremely patient with Amizetta, allowing her the time to mature and develop. A cheaper purchase from the 2022 Inglis Premier Sale, the owners are now starting to reap the rewards with a progressive stayer on their hands.
Congratulations to the winning connections.
