American In Paris secured his place in the 2021 Jericho Cup with a terrific win at Warrnambool on Friday. It was the first running of the “Road to Jericho BM70 3300m” where the winner is exempt from the ballot of this years Jericho.

He gave his new ownership group a great thrill winning his first start for the new connections, a few of which are new comers to the Wilde Racing stable.
He was given a lovely ride by Aaron Lynch who saved all the ground coming onto the course proper and into the home straight to win by two lengths.

It is great to have a horse that can mix his form with both flat racing as well as the jumps. American In Paris looks to have a future of the hurdles but he will take his place in this years Jericho Cup with a guaranteed start in the race.

Congratulations to the large group of winning connections.
