It was a jaw dropping performance by Persian Spirt on Saturday at Flemington. He was simply too good and it a pleasant surprise for the stable and his connections.

Persian Spirit was sent out a $50 pop and didn’t have any fans in betting. The team thought he would run well but the distance perhaps short of his best.
We were hoping he could be finishing off well and build into the preparation with the $500k Country Mile Final on Oaks Day being his target race.
Persian Spirit keeps his perfect record intact, having had the 13 starts and collecting a cheque on each occasion.
For a $6000 purchase from the Inglis Premier sales, he has well and truly covered his costs and some after earning over $195k in prizemoney.

Congratulations to Grand Syndicates, and all their owners who’ve cheered on Persian Spirit rain, hail, or shine.
