Sacred Eagle jumped to the front and kept on running for an all the way win at Bendigo on Thursday. He broke well from the barriers and was able to find himself in front without having to do to much work.
Declan Bates was able to give him a breather mid way before kicking off the turn and proving difficult to run down. They all had their chance to run over the top of Sacred Eagle but to his credit he dug deep and was strong through the line.
Track conditions don’t seem to worry Sacred Eagle which makes him a very versatile racehorse. He is building a good little record for his connections having had the 22 starts for four wins, two seconds and the four thirds collecting $114k in prizemoney. For a $70k purchase from the Tasmania yearling sales in 2022, he has been a good little money spinner for his owners.
Congratulations to the winning connections.
