Star Testymony kicked off 2025 with a win at Terang on Wednesday. He was given a lovely steer by Lester Grace from an awkward barrier. Star Testymony always travelled well throughout and looked the winner a long way from home. He had to dig deep when Stardom Awaayts the second placed horse challenged, but when it got level with Star Testymony he raised an effort and got his nose down where it counted.
After winning his maiden at Stawell earlier, he looked to be a horse that would go on and race through the grades. For whatever reason he lost his way and didn’t recapture that form.
The owners were patient, gave Star Testymony the time to reset and refresh. This campaign they are reaping those rewards as he has put 4 consistent runs in from the 4 starts this prep.
