Actaeon added another city win to his CV with a victory at Moonee Valley on Friday night. He was given a lovely steer by Dan Stackhouse and won convincingly over the 2040m.
He has been racing well over the shorter trips in preparation for the step up in distance on Friday night. The win was a great reward for his owners who have been very patient with him this campaign.
For a $30k purchase from the NZ 2021 yearling sales, Actaeon has well and truly paid for himself notching up close to $130k in prize-money.
We look forward to tackling feature staying races such as the Hobart and/or Launceston Cups with Actaeon in the summer months.
