Matrooshi and Rubiquity (pictured) provided the team with a winning double at their home track on Monday.

It was great to see Matrooshi break her maiden early in her first racing preparation. She has been given plenty of time by her owners debuting as a 4yo.
Purchased from the Sydney Classic Yearling sale for $140,000 she has a lovely pedigree. She looks to be a filly with plenty of upside and a bright future.

Rubiquity has been somewhat troublesome on race-day with his racing manners upside down, wanting to get things over and done with early in the race. On Monday he put it altogether to break his maiden.
A gelding operation and plenty of work behind the scenes from the team teaching Rubiquity to settle, we seen a glimpse of the ability he had been showing us at home on the training track.

Congratulations to both groups of winning connections.
