Mere Morsel in the Price Bloodstock silks was a brave winner at Moonee Valley on Friday Night.

He jumped well and took up the lead over the 1200m. Mere Morsel always travelled comfortably under Harry Coffey who was able to give him a small breather mid race.
Coming to the turn, Mere Morsel looked to be going well, he gave a good kick into the straight and Harry had saved just enough in the locker to win by the smallest of margins.

Mere Morsel has been consistent since joining our stable, having had the six starts for two wins and two minor placings. He ran a creditable 4th when up in grade last start and it was great to see Mere Morsel back up that run with a win.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
