Queen Zyrah secured win number two of her career with a tough win at Swan Hill on Saturday.
She is starting to learn what racing is all about, and although still new at her craft, it was great to see her knuckle down and stick her head out on Saturday. The field was her toughest test to date, and she was able to get the race won on what was an unknown track surface for her. Her only start on a good track was a failure and her recent racing showed that perhaps she does like some give in the tracks.
Queen Zyrah showed that she is versatile and was able to overcome the firmer track and win by the smallest of margins.
With still a little bit to learn and her versatility on firm or soft tracks the future is looking bright for Queen Zyrah.
