Clap Chap returned to the winners circle with an all the way victory at Colac on Saturday. With the addition of blinkers and a positive front running ride by Joe Bowditch it was great to see him run well after hard luck stories earlier this prep. He seems to be a horse that appreciates getting his own way in front and building into the race on his own terms. It was great to get our first winner for new stable clients Slade Bloodstock.
There are plenty of races around this time of year and if placed right in a similar staying event, we think Clap Chap can continue on his winning ways.
