The Mockingbird returned to Terang on Wednesday and was a winner again this time over the 1850m.
Ridden by Madison Lloyd from an awkward barrier she allowed The Mockingbird to find her feet early at the rear of the field. There was speed up front and The Mockingbird got into a good rhythm.
She was still a long way off them coming to the home turn but the long straight at Terang allowed her to balance up and hit the line strongly.
The mare is racing in great fashion this campaign having a second and two wins from only three starts.
Now that she has two wins on the board in lower grade, it is time to raise the bar and hopefully The Mockingbird can continue to race well.
