Allibor was successful in breaking his maiden status at Group 2 level on Saturday in the Sandown Guineas. Purchased from the 2019 Inglis Premier sale for $60,000 he was put through the ready2run sales with a reserve of $100k. He was passed in at $80,000 and we are very pleased to have him in the stables.
After a terrific run at Flemington at listed level over 1400m he was unlucky not to secure a place. With his fast finishing sectionals and his terrific temperament we thought the 1600m of the guineas would be ideal. Although things fell our way, with the short priced favourite being scratched on arrival on course, Allibor still had to raise the bar and perform.
He looks a promising 3yo on the up, he is so green and the penny hasn’t dropped with him yet.
