It was a great result for Mischa getting the win on the board at Hamilton on Monday. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, after pulling her shoe on the way to the barriers, she passed a re-shoe and vet check before being loaded into the gates. First up after a long break, on a very heavy track with a big weight and traffic difficulties up the straight, Mischa did a terrific job to pick herself up and finish off like she did when the break finally came her way. She always travelled strong throughout the run but coming into the home straight it was almost a case of a “good thing beaten”. Brad Rawiller was full of praise for the mare and hopefully the great win is a sign of better things in-store this campaign.
It was a great result for the new owners that have recently attained ownership in Mischa along with her original owners.
Congratulations to the winning connections.
