Tee Train was back in the winners circle at Warracknabeal on Monday after a frustrating time for the owners. They have been very patient while we tinkered with gear and trying to get Tee Train to settle in his races. Although he is bred to run a trip, he tends to travel too keenly in the run which takes away his finish at the end of the longer trips.
Warracknabeal was run at a fast tempo on Monday, which allowed Daniel Moor to settle Tee Train in a lovely position from the torrid barrier draw. Although he was not always travelling well, he was on and off the bridle and wasn’t 100% genuine in the run, Daniel got to work on Tee Train up the straight and he was able to prevail by 0.5 lengths.
We are hopeful with the win on the board, Tee Train can step back up to BM64 grade and continue on his winning ways.
Congratulations to the winning connections.
