Ownership
Horse ownership is a wonderful way of being part of Australian racing, and joining the Wilde Racing team comes at a very affordable cost. From as little as $60 a day training fee, you could be enjoying the excitement and feeling that only thoroughbred racing can provide. Wilde racing aims to make the process of becoming involved in the stable as simple as possible and therefore when it comes to purchasing horses, they believe it is best to leave it to the experts.
Bill Wilde has had huge success in the selection process of all the horses in the stable, which has resulted in a success story that has seen the stable grow from a part time hobby to the biggest facility in the South Western District of Victoria. Bill and Symon are in regular contact with fellow trainers, where tried horses can be purchased, they are sure they can find the right horse for you.
Bill & Symon are always available to discuss up coming sales and are more than happy to advise owners when considering purchasing, based on their experience and knowledge of breeding.
Bill & Symon will point you in the right direction, attend sales with owners, inspect and discuss your potential purchases when required.

Melanesia' 3 year old filly. Dam: Sweet Calamity, by At Talaq (winner 1986 Melbourne Cup). Sweet Calamity won as a 2 year old. Sire: Desert King, sire of Makybe Diva and Desert War Melanesia was bred by Glenn Wallace, Wombalano, Yuulong in the Otway Ranges.
She is now training at the Wilde's pre-training centre at Terang. The 2 year lease of Melanesia is now completed with 9 lessee's looking forward to some fun following their filly.

Palconi - by Bianconi out of Palermo is the third named produce of the mare. The two to race are:

The gelding was broken and educated by local breaker, Colin Chandler. Currently pre-training with Colin Chandler in preparation for his first stint at the stables.
