Injury Prone Jimmian returns to winners stall
May 24, 2017
It has been 829 days since Jimmian has visited the winners stall but today at Ballarat he did just that.
With a career plagued by injury, Jimmian is a lightly raced 6yo gelding with ability but continued to be halted by setbacks.
It has been a terrific job by all the staff at home to have nursed Jimmian back to full health and see him back racing in good form.
Ridden by stable apprentice Melissa Julius, Jimmian always looked to be travelling well behind the leader.
Melissa held him together for as long as she could before letting him go to win by 2.75 lengths.
Congratulations to his patient owners- hopefully another win isn't too far away.
